Earlier this year I attended the “Past, Present, Future” art show. While I was walking around, taking in some of the atmosphere, a display of artwork on the back wall behind the DJ caught my attention. One of the paintings, in particular, was a blue-themed side portrait of our Commander-in-Chief. That painting alone sparked my interest enough to make me want to find out this artist was. But, that night, I didn’t get the chance to meet the artist; despite unknowingly passing him up all night long. A couple of months later when I revisited the same gallery, I recognized a young man walking around the gallery. Somehow or another, we began conversing and he informed me he was the artist behind the display I saw at the last art show. This young cat was one of the artists I was looking for.
