Lecrae and Kendrick Lamar aren't the only rappers in this generation of emcess making a more constructive brand of hip-hop. There are very few rappers to come out in the past 10 years that lyrically hold a candle to the verbal prowess of Lupe Fiasco. He has always been one of the most prolific emcees on the microphone, but it seems as of late he's been setting his eye on being a good business man and philanthropist. Google, Microsoft, Hirepurpose and Nas have signed up to become the financial backers for the General Assembly's "Opportunity Fund" that will provide tech scholarships to women, African Americans and Latinos, according to Vibe.com.
