Well the holiday season is over, but Counter Culture continues on our mission to provide for the segment of the population that's constantly overlooked. On January 8, 2016, Counter Culture will be distributing coats for the homeless in the South Dallas area.
For the second consecutive year, The Urban Advocate along with our philanthropy partners, CounterCulture, will be volunteering for "Breakfast with the Residents" on Christmas morning! This annual event brings volunteers from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to pass out Christmas presents and serve breakfast to some of the youth that are incarcerated at Dallas County's Juvenile detention center.
