If you follow us on Instagram, you may have noticed us campaigning for a new series that's based in our home city of Dallas called, Washed. Well now, the creators of this hilarious show recently announced it's move to Amazon Prime.
Created by Jerod Couch, The Creative Couch, Washed is about a conflicted young professional named Mark, who wakes up on his 30th birthday in the midst of a quarter-life crisis. As he struggles to comes to terms with getting older and putting his youthful years behind him, Mark faces a new set of obstacles that forces him to reevaluate his relationship, his career and his future.
If you follow The Urban Advocate, you may see a few familiar faces in the series as well. Namely, Jarric Tucker (who appears in our short-film series, Devil's Town) and of course, our favorite Big D songbird, Terilisha. The show also stars our guy Corey Pratt and Dallas music vet, B. Hardy.
