The 116 crew members got a chance to visit with the inmates, tour the facility, eat lunch and play basketball on the yard. Having visited a couple of prison facilities in my years of service, I have to tell you it is an experience. Being able to talk to individuals who have been counted out by society and give them hope for life outside of the prison walls. Hearing the stories of some of the men incarcerated makes it easy to see the humanity those who were locked up as oppose to turning your backs on the way society usually does.
"These are people that need love and encouragement, that the world kind of forgets about. They've done things that are dishonorable…but God still loves them so, so do I," added Lecrae.
