Mark Wahlberg's Fast-Paced Action Thriller

So, we here at The Urban Advocate love a good action movie. Action sequences, gun fights, explosions, car chases are a plus anytime we're talking about a trip to the movie theater. A couple of nights ago, I got a chance to get a sneak peak at the new Mark Wahlberg action movie, Mile 22. Let's just say if you like action movies, you won't be disappointed.

Mile 22 is about an elite American intelligence officer, aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, try to smuggle a foreign police officer with sensitive information out of the country into the US. Sounds simple right? Well there wouldn't be a movie if it was that easy. While trying to transport this officer 22 miles to the airport, all hell breaks loose. This is one road trip that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. 

I won't give the movie away. What I will say is this movie is extremely fast-paced. Everything from the dialogue to the action sequences are at such a rapid fire pace that most people's brains won't be quick enough to keep up with. There's a reason for this, but you have to pay attention in order to catch it. If you blink you might miss something. If you get up and go to the restroom, you may as well watch the movie from the beginning. By the time you reach the end, you'll be clamoring for more. And if I won't be surprised if there was a sequel in the works.

Overall, I liked Mile 22. I would definitely recommend you watch it if you're in the mood for a good action movie. Hit the jump below to check out the official trailer.
