The event will take place from 9 am to 1 pm at Emerald City Bar & Grill in South Dallas. Volunteers will serve and entertain homeless & low-income residents in the local community with free food, drinks and will also give away clothes, blankets, coats and toiletries. Each year, hundreds of people in the South Dallas area are served at Emerald City and MBK Dallas is dedicated to helping in the fight against hunger and homelessness in the city of Dallas. The annual food drive has fed thousands through its yearly efforts. Every Thanksgiving Day, Emerald City’s Bar & Grill is transformed into an atmosphere where a community comes together to spread love and hope to the lives of some who may be less fortunate. |
MBK Dallas returns to host the 9th Annual "My Brother's Keeper: Feed the Homeless Drive" on Thanksgiving Day. Launched in 2009, the annual food drive has fed thousands through its yearly efforts. Every Thanksgiving Day, MBK Dallas transforms Emerald City Bar & Grill (located in the South Dallas area) into a giving atmosphere where a community comes together to serve a segments of the community that is often overlooked and underrepresented.
