It appears the media, Fox News in particular, have worn out their welcome in the city of Baltimore. The protesters are fed up with being labeled thugs and animals and some city officials didn't seem too pleased with it either.
In this first clip, you see Gerld Rivers being confronted by one of the young protesters who is upset with the media coverage regarding what's going on in Baltimore. The young protestor says the media refuses to focus on the real issues, that they're not concerned with the death of Freddy Gray, they are only there to sensationalize the riot that took place in the city.
In this next clip, the off air confrontation spilled into an on-air confrontation as Old Man Rivers attempted to interview State Senate Majority Leader Catherine Pugh on the streets. As he tried to trivialize the crowd's frustration, calling them "vandals". Pugh did the right thing and dismissed his assumptions that the protesters were anything other than a concerned group of citizens. She quickly points out that Fox News presence is only inciting frustrated protesters.
And here Councilman Nick Mosby attempts to shed some light on why the riots were taking place in the first place. But this clueless reporter only seems to be interested in trying to paint a picture that the city of Baltimore is simply out of control.
